An average length of 7 minutes apiece, these episodes will allow families to journey through each of Christian Pilgrim's stops together in bite-size pieces. From the City of Destruction, past Legality Hill, through Vanity Fair, and all the way to the Celestial City, you can follow Christian weekly as he travels the path the Celestial King has set him on.

Subjected to perpetual misery and decay, the residents of the City of Destruction toil day in and day out with no hope and no end in sight. Until one day, when Christian Pilgrim hears about a glorious city, the Celestial City, and acquires the Book and a map to this city. Trusting what he reads in the Book (the Bible), Christian begins a journey that will change his life forever.

Forbidden Forest

As Christian enters the Forbidden Forest, the unbearable burden he carries becomes visible. “What should I do?” Christian cries out. Just then, a man named Evangelist arrives and directs him on the straight path toward the Celestial City by way of the Gate. Christian only has to follow his instructions and stay on the straight path.

With fierce determination, Christian leaves Help and continues his trek on the straight path. His burden seems to be growing bigger by the hour. Exhausted and frustrated, Christian collapses on the path, but when he looks up, he sees a strange man named Worldly Wiseman who has an easier path in mind.

Legality Hill

In the City of Morality, Christian tries to make his way up Legality Hill. Facing the terrifying stone judge, Christian attempts to follow every commandment he created—all with the hope that his burden would be removed. Christian struggles under the weight of his inability to follow all that Legality demands of him.

The Gate

Alone in the forest, Christian hears a rustle nearby. Little does he know that he will soon be confronted with Apollyon’s demons, sent to deter him from getting to the Gate. But Christian remembers that help is never far off, all he needs to do is ask for it.

House of the Interpreter

On a dark and impassable path, Christian calls out for help. His path is illuminated by thousands of fireflies, which guide him to the house of the Interpreter. There, he learns important lessons about coming trials and tests that he will experience on the path to the Celestial City.

Salvation Hill

Christian is faced with yet another choice: does he take Patience Path or Passion Passage? His choice makes all the difference. He ascends Salvation Hill, his burden is removed, and he is clothed in the garments of the King! He experiences the love of the King and rejoices.

The Palace Beautiful

Christian again finds himself in the dark. Emerging from the forest, he barely makes it into the Palace Beautiful where he meets other faithful Christians. There, he receives needed encouragement and is clothed with the armor of God for the task ahead.

Valley of Humiliation

Having been clothed in the armor of God, Christian descends into the Valley of Humiliation, alone. There, he must face the evil Apollyon face to face in battle, and cries, “My allegiance is with the Celestial King!”

Vanity Fair

Christian meets Faithful, and together they journey toward the Celestial City. They are warned of coming trials, which they find in Vanity Fair. Locked up for the crime of doing nothing, Christian and Faithful find help through a surprising source.

Castle Despair

Trapped in a cage, suspended from the ceiling in a dark and dingy castle, Christian and Hopeful face the giant, Despair. Starving, alone, and desperate, Christian remembers wise words from the Interpreter.

Episode 13

The Delightful Mountains

Christian and Hopeful see the beautiful hills of green ahead, and meet the Shepherd of the Delightful Mountains. There, he gives them instructions for the path ahead: “I will give you a map,” says the Shepherd, and then he disappears.

The Flatterer’s Trap

Following their meeting with the Shepherd, Christian and Hopeful are led away by a man who flatters them with his words, but is he really a fellow pilgrim? A rescue is needed, but it does not come without wounds.

Christian and Hopeful arrive at the final test. At the Raging River, they must decide whether or not they will forsake everything and follow the King to arrive at their destination: The Celestial City.

Episode 16

The Celestial City

Christian awakes on the shore, dressed in white robes. At last, he has arrived at his final destination: The Celestial City. He is greeted by the Celestial King and some other familiar faces, and rests in perfect peace.
